STALKER 2 has been delayed into 2024

Take all the time you need, GSC Game World.

STALKER 2 has been quietly delayed into 2024, developer GSC Game World has recently confirmed.

Initially delayed as a result of complications caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, an update to the title’s fact sheet now states that the title is expected in Q1 2024.

STALKER 2 was first announced back in 2020; those patiently waiting for it will have to wait a little longer sadly.

It’s been a rocky road for Stalker 2; in addition to the delays, dev GSC Game World copped some flak for attempting to incorporate NFTs into the title. NFTs were removed after… let’s just call it “fan feedback”.

STALKER 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X sometime in Q1 2024. It’ll also be available inside Xbox Game Pass.
