Square Enix to announce new games in July and August

Square Enix has plans to announce multiple new games over July and August, and new report states.

“In the future, we plan to announce several new works as soon as they are ready, and we plan to announce some of them from July to August,” reads a translated statement from Square Enix on Game’s Talk.

The titles would likely have been announced during E3 2020, backed by a statement from the publisher which said it had a lineup that was “stronger than ever” back at the event’s cancellation.

It’s unsure how Square Enix will announce these new titles, but we’ll keep you informed as we learn more. Its latest, Project Athia, was detailed earlier in the month and is planned for an eventual release on PS5.
