Spotify now available on PS3, PS4

Spotify’s music streaming service is now powering Sony’s Music Unlimited on PS3 and PS4.

Once you’ve downloaded the new app,  you can sign up or log in to the service directly from the app.

The PS4 version of Spotify will also allow you to play music in the background, though you might have to go into options to find the right sound balance when playing your favourite game.

Neither version of the app allows for offline play, meaning local files stored on a PC cannot be played on console.

A Premium Spotify membership is around $10 AUD a month.
