Splinter Cell Conviction backwards compatible on Xbox One

Splinter Cell Conviction is now backwards compatible on Xbox One.

Fans and gamers can now (re)discover the adventures of Sam Fisher in the fifth entry of the stealth-based series,” Ubisoft advised in a press release.

“In Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, all of the rules have changed, as the Splinter Cell story takes a dramatic turn that will reinvent the franchise forever. Sam Fisher, now a renegade from the law and without his trusted bag of tools, must race against time to thwart a deadly terrorist plot that threatens millions.”

Conviction was first released in 2010 on Windows PC and Xbox 360. You can grab it digitally from the Xbox Store for $4.95 AUD.

If you own the game digitally, you can download its Xbox One version in the My Games & Apps section of your console. If you’ve got a physical version, simply insert your disc into the Xbox One to begin the download process.
