Spider-Man on Xbox One will “never” happen, says Insomniac

Spider-Man on Xbox One isn’t a thing and will “never” be a thing, developer Insomniac has confirmed.

The developer took to Twitter and didn’t bother to mince words — or keep any semblance of hope alive that its upcoming title was a limited time PS4 exclusive.

The response might sting, but at least it was quick and to the point, eh? Considering Sony’s publishing the game, it probably wasn’t even worth the wasted time asking, really. Regardless, at least we know for certain.

Insomniac also took to Twitter recently to confirm the game’s 2018 release, though we’ll have to wait until early tomorrow morning to get an exact release date.

If it wasn’t painfully clear, Spider-Man will head to PS4 exclusively sometime in 2018. Time to invest in a PS4, Xbox One faithful?
