Spider-Man confirmed for a 2018 release on PS4

Spider-Man will head to PS4 in 2018, it’s been confirmed ahead of a specific release date reveal.

We won’t have long to wait — the game’s release date will be highlighted as part of GameInformer’s May issue. Developer Insomniac took to Twitter ahead of the full reveal to confirm that Spider-Man will indeed release in 2018.

“It’s releasing 2018 and Game Informer has the date and will share it tomorrow,” Insomniac tweeted.

GameInformer’s digital release occurs at 1.00 am AEST on 5 April — but you can already take a look at its gorgeous cover above — so Aussies will know Spider-Man‘s release date when they wake up tomorrow. Can you hold out until then?

This might help either way — GameInformer also released a little trailer that shows off more Spider-Man gameplay. Check it out below:

Spider-Man is a PS4 exclusive. We previewed it at last year’s E3.
