Spectre Divide, a 3v3 shooter, is Mountaintop’s first game

Check it out inside.

Spectre Divide is the name of a new 3v3 tactical shooter coming from new dev Mountaintop Studios.

While it may look a tad generic in the trailer above, Spectre Divide‘s main point of differentiation is that it’ll let you swap between “two bodies in real-time to defend two sites at once, cover your own cross, or even trade yourself”.

Check it out below.

What’s more, a stress test for the title will take place between 5.00 am and 1.00 pm on Sunday, 4 August here in Australia. If you’d like to take part on Windows PC via Steam, you can apply to do so here.

As we reported back in 2020, Mountaintop Studios was co-founded by former Oculus, Naughty Dog, Double Fine and Hidden Path employees, including Aussie Rich Lyons.

There’s no word as yet as when to expect Spectre Divide, but we’ll keep you informed as we learn more.
