These special PAX West Xbox One Ses may be your only chance to get the console in black

Microsoft used PAX West to show off a black, Sea of Thieves-branded Xbox One S.

Turns out, the console isn’t part of a bundle — or at least, it isn’t yet. The console you see is above is a custom job, up for grabs as part of Microsoft’s Xbox PAX Sweepstakes.

There are a number of custom consoles up for the taking, including black ones themed with Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1 and Forza Horizon 3 designs. There are also white models detailed with ReCore and Dead Rising 4 and a light blue Halo Wars 2 console.

Sadly, the contest is only open to legal residents within the 50 states of the U.S.A.

Current retail models of the Xbox One S –500GB, 1TB and 2TB — are all white. Gears of War 4 bundle will provide an opportunity to get the new console in Crimson Red.

Thanks, Omer.
