Sorcery and Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock are now on PS3

In case you missed it yesterday, the PlayStation 3 saw two highly sought-after releases hit the marketplace yesterday. We’re talking about Sorcery and BBC’s Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock.

Sorcery is described as a “magical action-adventure experience,” by Sony, and as such, requires the PlayStation Move motion controller. Placing the gamer in the shoes of a wizard, players will need their magical skills as they explore the world of the Faerie Kingdoms.

Continues Sony, “it is up to the player to master the arcane arts and fight back the foul creatures of the magical realm where the story of Sorcery takes place. The gesture-based casting system allows users to chain together basic spells into powerful combinations–freeze and shatter enemies, electrocute them with lightning called down from the heavens, or incinerate them in a lethal firestorm. Players can also collect magic items, learn new spells, and concoct upgrade potions to turn their humble apprentice into an unstoppable magic force.”

Yesterday also saw the release of the BBC’s Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock through the PSN.

Playing as The Doctor and River Song, you’ll travel across 600 years of history and the future to save the Earth. Says the BBC, “in order to be successful, [the gamer] must master the complexities of time travel through exceptional time-based game play — changes made in one time will impact another, creating multiple possibilities and challenging players to solve puzzles across the centuries.”

Stevivor.com will shortly be posting a review of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock.
