Sony’s new Franchise Rewards program offers physical rewards (at a cost)

And in Australia, it's a larger cost.

Sony will offer physical rewards to those who have earned certain Trophies within Ghost of Tsushima and, soon, Ghost of Yotei. Part of a larger program called Franchise Rewards, players who want the items will have to pay for them, alongside additional shipping costs.

Players who have earned — or who manage to earn — the “Mono No Aware” Gold or “Living Legend” Platinum Trophies in Ghost of Tsushima before 31 December 2025 are eligible to redeem a commemorative t-shirt or pin, respectively.

While Australians can take part, the Franchise Rewards store operates out of the US or the UK. Choosing the UK storefront seems to place merchandise in US dollars regardless, as the shirt is priced at $30 USD when we attempted to checkout.

Shipping of the shirt — which won’t be delivered until January 2026 — adds an additional $15.84 USD cost to the mix. The pin is priced at $25 USD.

“This is just the start, Sony continued. “Ghost of Yotei Rewards will arrive later this year, giving players another opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments with unique merchandise. We’ll share more details closer to launch.”
