Sony’s got a new wired PS4 stereo headset on the way

Sony today confirmed a new wired headset for PS4 called the Silver Wired Stereo Headset.

The peripheral is a wired version of the Gold Wireless Headset.

As detailed on the PS Blog, the Silver Wired headset will work on PS3 and PS4, and will also include a 3.5mm jack for use on PS Vita and other compatible devices.

The peripheral supports 7.1 virtual surround sound and boasts a retractable boom mic and inline volume and microphone controls.
