Sony starts its E3 show with new God of War

After a ridiculously long orchestral number, Sony eventually kicked off its E3 press conference with a new God of War game.

You can check out gameplay in the video below:

A visibly aged Kratos is charged with the care of a young boy, whom he teaches to hunt in a thrilling sequence. He loses his temper… well, quite quickly. If you ask us, he deserves that one arrow.

Bear McCreary of Battlestar Galactica, Outlander and other amazing television shows and films will be composing the game’s soundtrack.

God of War 4 (nope, no number) heads to PS4 at an unknown date.
