Sony spent five years trying to secure a Super Smash Bros. film with Nintendo

So many leaked Sony emails, so little time.

ArsTechnica has done some digging, and has found that Sony Pictures is quite keen on making a Super Smash Bros. movie.

Documents suggest a “five year chase” went on between Sony and Nintendo in an effort to secure a film deal. You can read the full report over on ArsTechnica.
