Sony launches a new service status page for its PlayStation Network offerings

After many years — and many disruptions — Sony has finally launched a portal that will show the statuses of various PlayStation Network services in real time.

Sony did have a past page that was meant to show services statuses, but it was never updated. Instead, outages were communicated over Twitter and Facebook.

The new services page has a separate row for each of the PSN’s services, such as its gaming and social apps, the PlayStation Store and more.
