Sony Australia is on the hunt for All-Star Battle Royale’s number one fan

In celebration of the upcoming release of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, PlayStation Australia has just announced that they’re on a nation-wide search to find the game’s number one fan.

Actually, in this case, ‘most skilled’ equals ‘number one fan.’ So, you’d better brush up on your fighting skills!

Through its new Battle Royale Facebook app, fans can “step… straight into the virtual ring to battle with their favourite characters for the chance to win the ultimate bragging rights and be crowned winner,” Sony confirmed today.

Players can choose their favourite character and fight with 19 rivals per day. Each battle earns you points… and, in true social media style, recruiting friends does the same.

“Each day, all players have the opportunity to win daily PS3 and PlayStationVita All-Star Prize Packs while battling with multiple characters increases your chances of winning in addition to being crowned PlayStation Australia’s Ultimate All-Star. An epic major prize of a PlayStation Experience Day is also up for grabs for the gamer that battles the hardest to win the most points,” Sony said. “The top point scorer will win the title prize of PlayStation Australia’s Ultimate All-Star. The All-Star Character that comes out on top to reign supreme after all the battles will officially be crowned PlayStation Australia’s Ultimate All-Star Character.”

The contest runs for twenty days — so good luck to those who plan to enter!
