Sony is “aggressively getting into” mobile gaming thanks to Pokémon Go

Sony CEO Kaz Hirai has told The Financial Times that the company is “aggressively getting into” mobile gaming as a result of Pokémon Go.

“It’s quite a shift from being just a console-based business to being on mobile phones as well,” Hirai added.

At the same time, Sony has all but ceased first-party support of the PS Vita, it’s handheld platform.
