Some say The Stig will be at the Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000 this weekend

Xbox recently confirmed that The Stig will be appearing at the Super Cheap Auto Bathurst 1000 in NSW this weekend.

The appearance was announced alongside the preliminary winners of the Forza Motorsports 6 ‘Drive to Win’ global racing challenge. Said Stig will join the competition winners for a world-first hot lap around the famous Mount Panorama race track.

Five Aussies and four players from the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand will head to Bathurst for the event. The prelim winners will meet Xbox Racing drivers Marcos Ambrose and Scott Pye before going on to compete in a live, in-game time attack, as they attempt to be crowned champion of the mountain.

Forza Motorsport 6 is available now on Xbox One.

(Yeah, yeah. Wrong car. We know.)
