Smite: And you get localised servers too!

Man, local servers sure are popular these days, eh? First, we got World of Warcraft servers in Australia and New Zealand. Then, the promise of local Xbox One servers too. Now, developer Hi-Rez Studios has jumped on board and confirmed localised servers for Smite.

“As Smite grows, we continue to expand servers into key regions so that we can provide the best service and performance for our international players” said Todd Harrisof Hi-Rez Studios. “The Australian community has always been very vocal and supportive, and we are excited to improve the game experience for the community in this region”

Hi-Rez’s Todd Harris and Esports Caster Drybear will be in attendance at PAX AUS next week. Harris will run a Smite panel on 31 October from 4.30 pm. An exclusive “Sydney Shredder” skin will be available at the event.
