Silent Hill Townfall inspired by small Scottish town, is first-person and relies on CRTV

We've so much info about this upcoming title.

A new Silent Hill Townfall trailer has detailed so very much about the upcoming title, including its setting, protagonist, and more.

Players will play as Simon Ordell, a man who is dropped into a very Silent Hill experience in a mist-filled town called St Amelia. While it’s unclear if the game takes place in Europe, generally, St Amelia itself is based upon small Scottish towns, according to developer Screen Burn.

Simon will rely upon familiar weapons to take on St Amelia’s abnormalities, and can also use a small CRTV in order to hide or keep out of sight instead.

“Not only is it a useful tool in encounters – allowing Simon to ‘see’ through the environment and locate nearby threats – but it also picks up signals from around the town that unveil more of the story and even help guide Simon through some of the other challenges he faces,” Konami’s Motoi Okamoto said on the PlayStation Blog.

It was also confirmed that players will play in first-person perspective.

“The CRTV especially could only truly work in first person, allowing the player to raise it into view while they explore, tune into signals and discover broadcasts, and gain an advantage in otherwise terrifying situations,” Konami added.

We don’t have a release date as yet, but Silent Hill Townfall is planned for a 2026 release on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store alongside PS5.
