Silent Hill The Short Message rated in South Korea

Is the cat out of the bag?

Silent Hill The Short Message has potentially been outed by South Korea’s Game Rating committee, with many believing a long-awaited sequel is finally coming from Konami.

The rating was first discovered by Video Games Chronicle, though apart from the title’s potential name, not much else is known. At present, we know that Uniana is listed as the game’s publisher; the company routinely publishes Konami titles in the region.

Rumours of a Silent Hill sequel have been floating in the ether since February of last year; Blair Witch and Layers of Fear’s Bloober Team is reportedly attached to the project.

Earlier this year, images that were potentially from Silent Hill The Short Message were posted to the internet before being forcibly removed by Konami.

We’ll keep you informed as more is known about Silent Hill The Short Message.
