Silent Hill 2 remake release date set for October 2024

A new trailer for Silent Hill 2 has given us our latest look at the title alongside its release date: 8 October 2024.

“Having received a letter from his deceased wife, James heads to where they shared so many memories, in the hope of seeing her one more time: Silent Hill. There, by the lake, he finds a woman eerily similar to her…”

Alongside the news came a new trailer, which you can check out below.

The remake is being developed by Layers of Fears’ Bloober Team… for better or for worse, depending on your preferences. What do you make of the title from what’s been shown above?

Update: A second trailer was also released as part of a separate Silent Hill transmission that ran after the Sony State of Play. You can watch it below.

Expect Silent Hill 2 from 8 October on PS5.
