Sea of Thieves’ potential February 2016 launch outed by Xbox Australia

MCV Pacific today reports on a social media snafu by Xbox Australia that may have outed Sea of Thieves‘ February 2016 launch date.

Xbox Australia posted — and has since removed — the tweet in question:

Xbox’s Aaron Greenberg saw the tweet in question and responded in kind.

Greenberg said launch decisions would be made after a beta for the game.

Sea of Thieves will release under Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program on Windows PC and Xbox One. We previewed it at E3 here.
