Screenshot functionality heading to the Xbox One as part of its March update

The Xbox One’s March update brings with it the ability to take a screenshot.

Finally.

Xbox’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb confirmed as much on his blog today, adding that improvements will also be made to the Upload and Friends apps.

Hryb also confirmed how the screenshot process works:

Tweaks will also be made to tile transparency and privacy settings, and a new spam reporting tool will be added to the console’s UI.

In Australia, the update will add support for OneGuide and the Xbox One Digital TV Tuner.

Preview Program users should receive the update shortly.
