Saros, Ghost of Yotei will remain PS5 exclusives, says report

Don't expect PC releases.

PlayStation Studios titles Saros and Ghost of Yotei won’t make the jump to PC and will remain true PS5 exclusives, a new report from Bloomberg states.

According to the report, Sony has shifted plans to bring PS5 titles over to PC for a number of reasons. First, the publisher thinks that PC sales harm the PlayStation console brand (and sales on consoles themselves). Sony also cites a lack of consistency in release quality and schedules, according to the report.

The report states that a Ghost of Yotei PC port was in development, but has since been scrapped.

Sony’s change in attitude is a direct contrast to Microsoft, which is releasing the likes of Forza Horizon 6 and Fable on PS5. It also comes at a time where PlayStation Studios titles Marathon and Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls will receive multi-platform releases.

The report follows news that Sony has shut down Bluepoint Studios and has laid off approximately 70 staff members.
