Xbox’s inclusive new avatars heading to consoles next month

Xbox’s inclusive new avatars will head to Xbox Insiders this month and all users in April, a new report suggests.

Anonymous sources has told The Verge that the new avatars, first seen back in 2016, are being tested now for a full release next month.

The newly designed avatars will have more clothing options and body types available, alongside options to include prosthetic limbs or even simulate pregnancy. The avatars shown back in the day featured wheelchairs.

Microsoft has yet to comment on the report; we’ll update as more is known. Are you excited to potentially use these new avatar options soon?
