Star Wars KOTOR remake delayed indefinitely: report

Ruh roh.

A new report suggests that Aspyr’s Star Wars KOTOR remake has been delayed indefinitely.

The report comes from Bloomberg, which suggests that KOTOR — or Knights of the Old Republic — isn’t coming along as Aspyr or parent company Embracer Group had hoped.

The outlet cites the termination of Aspyr’s Brad Prince (design director) and Jason Minor (art director) as evidence of the title’s lacklustre development.

Sources have told Bloomberg that the title was expected as early as 2022, but is now on track for a 2025 release.

The remake was announced back in September 2021.

The Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic remake is planned for release on PC and PS5. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
