Resident Evil: Ingrid Hunnigan’s voice actor teases reprisal of role

Just like Ken Lally and Reuben Langdon before her, Resident Evil mainstay Salli Saffioti has teased that she’s back working on the popular franchise.

Saffioti, who voices Leon’s US government handler Ingrid Hunnigan, didn’t go as far to hashtag #ResidentEvil on an Instagram post, but did say she was “reprising a role in a vg (video game)!”

She’s pictured outside Formosa Interactive, a sound production facility that’s worked on a number of Capcom games including Resident Evil 5 and 6.

Do you think this is further evidence that we’ll see a new Resident Evil game announced at E3? As Ingrid Hunnigan wasn’t part of the franchise until Resident Evil 4, do you think this means the franchise will be continued rather than rebooted? Sound off in the comments, below.
