Resident Evil 3 Remake rumoured for 2020 release

A Resident Evil 3 Remake in 2020 will follow in the footsteps of 2019’s Resident Evil 2 Remake, new reports suggest.

YouTube Spawn Wave says that the RE3 Remake is in development and will be released next year, with outlet Video Games Chronicle saying the report “matches what [it] has been told by a number of sources.”

Capcom has yet to comment on the rumour, of course, but we’ll keep you posted and will update you as more information is made available. Back in August of last year, Capcom said it was considering more remakes.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake was a highly successful venture for Capcom; in our review, we said the title was a true return to survival horror.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
