Report: Halo: The Master Chief Collection will bundle Halo 1, 2, 3 & 4 on Xbox One

Over the weekend, Engadget reported that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will bundle Halo 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the Xbox One this year.

By the bundle’s title alone, the collection focuses on Halo titles that feature the Master Chief as the game’s protagonist, meaning spin-offs like Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach and Halo Wars will not be included.

An Xbox One collection of past Halo titles was leaked months ago by NeoGAF user “ntkrnl”, who’s had an impressive track record of correct information since. Ntkrnl provided factual information on Sunset Overdrive and the recently confirmed Halo 5: Guardians.

Microsoft declined to comment on the report.

We’ll have more on Halo: The Master Chief Collection as it develops.
