PS5 DualSense has 50% more battery than the PS4 DualShock

The PS5 DualSense reportedly has 50% more battery than the PS4’s DualShock, a new analysis suggests.

This one comes from Twitter user Galaxy666, who works for a console accessories company. The user reports that the DualSense will sport a battery of capacity of 1560 mAh, trumping the PS4 DualShock’s measy 800 mAh.

Moreover, the user claims to have had hands-on time with the DualSense, saying it’s “much more pleasant and comfortable than the [DualShock]. The [feedback] is magical, the triggers inside mechanical structures [seem] very complex.”

The DualSense will launch alongside the PS5 later this year. At present, the console is expected in the holiday 2020 season.
