Gears of War: Ultimate Edition gameplay leaked, Microsoft takes action

Well, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is all but confirmed.

After leaks last month, new gameplay has allegedly surfaced, thanks to users testing the game’s multiplayer.

The clips were uploaded using XboxDVR and were quickly deleted, but not before the internet grabbed hold.

MP1st also managed to take some screengrabs if the link above gets pulled.

Polygon reports that Microsoft has already banned the leakers from Xbox Live, also locking out their consoles.

An email from third-party testing service, VMC, sent to Polygon, Microsoft “permanently disabled their Xbox LIVE accounts (as well as other suspected accounts present on their Xbox One kits) and temporarily blocked all of their Xbox One privileges — meaning that for a period of time which Microsoft decides on depending on the severity of the offense, their Xbox One is entirely unusable.”

Think Microsoft will wait until E3 to officially announce the game?
