Destiny 2 Shadowkeep is likely its next expansion

Destiny 2 Shadowkeep will likely be revealed later this week ahead of E3 2019, a new datamine has revealed.

A datamine of PC content released as part of Destiny 2’s Season of Opulence has revealed a splash screen calling Shadowkeep “the next chapter in the Destiny experience.”

The screen confirms players will return to Earth’s moon as “terrifying shadows descend” upon it. “Journey deep into a mysterious enemy citadel. Become a slayer of nightmares,” the description continues.

Not much more is known, beyond the fact that Shadowkeep will launch in the Aussie spring and will soon be available for pre-purchase.

We’ll have more on Shadowkeep as it’s made available. Bungie’s pre-E3 livestream is scheduled for 3.00 am AEST on 7 July.

Destiny 2 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
