Call of Duty battle royale Warzone to launch in March

The Call of Duty battle royale mode Warzone is set to launch inside Modern Warfare in March, a new report suggests.

This time around, VGC reports that “US development sources” allege that Warzone will the the place of a currently greyed-out menu item as early as 10 March.

As we’ve previously reported, Warzone is a 200-player battle royale with a unique twist. When you die in-game, you’ll be transported to a 1v1 area known as the Gulag. Inside the Gulag, you’ll wait your turn to then fight a 1v1 match against another downed opponent. Beat that player and you’ll gain re-entry into the battle royale match proper.

Other reports suggest a map twice the size of Call of Duty Black Ops 4‘s Blackout and a ping system as seen in Apex Legends.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4.
