Bleeding Edge is Ninja Theory’s first game under Microsoft

Bleeding Edge has been leaked ahead of an official reveal by Microsoft at its E3 2019 press conference.

Swedish site Xboxer has recently published screenshots and a trailer from the first game to come from Ninja Theory since it was acquired by Microsoft Game Studios last year. Ninja Theory is just off the back of its hugely successful Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.

Bleeding Edge looks to be an entirely different beast. With an art style that seems similar to Overwatch, it’s said to be a 4v4 melee combat multiplayer game in the vein of For Honor. The trailer also confirmed that Rahni Tucker, the Combat Director for DmC: Devil May Cry, is part of the Bleeding Edge development team.

Moreover, the trailer (embedded below via Xboxer) confirms that a Bleeding Edge technical demo will begin later this month on 27 June.

Bleeding Edge is expected on Windows PC and Xbox One; we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.
