Alien: Isolation 2 isn’t in development: New report

Rumours that suggest The Creative Assembly is working Alien: Isolation 2 are false, says Eurogamer.

The site’s own sources say that not only is The Creative Assembly not working on a sequel, most of the team who worked on the original no longer work at the developer. Moreover, Eurogamer says that SEGA didn’t consider Alien: Isolation enough of a success to warrant a sequel.

Earlier in the week, Official PlayStation Magazine cited sources who said the sequel was already in development.

“We can’t talk in any more detail about aspects of the Rumour Machine section of the magazine,” said OPM Editor Ian Dean after Eurogamer requested further comment.
