2K Games removes XCOM shooter trailer, site from the internet

Here today, gone tomorrow; that’s where we find 2K Marin’s upcoming shooter XCOM.

Several media outlets today reported that 2K Games has been pulling any and all references to the planned shooter from the internet; the XCOM shooter’s website simply 404’s (what, no funny error message, 2K?) and all XCOM videos uploaded to 2K Games’ YouTube channel have disappeared.

When we last heard in February 2013, production of the XCOM shooter was still going strong. We were to expect the title before March 2014.

We’ve put word in with 2K and will report back as we learn more.
