Rugby 20 licenses span 69 teams, 4 leagues and 2,000 players

Rugby 20 licenses mean that 69 official teams, 4 leagues and more than 2,000 players will be represented in-game, Eko Software and BigBen today declared.

The news comes as Rugby 20 prepared to enters the third and final phase of a closed beta, running between 19 December and 3 January 2020.

“While the beta only includes national teams, the final version will contain significantly more licensed content, with 69 official teams, 4 leagues and over 2,000 players faithfully reproduced in the game,” Eko and BigBen said in a press release. “Rugby fans will be able to replay some of the sport’s greatest matches, solo or with friends.”

Those licenses include the Top 14, Rugby Pro D2, the Pro14 and Premiership Rugby.

Rugby 20 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One on 23 January 2020, followed by a PS4 release on 28 January 2020.
