Rocksmith+ console availability not part of Ubisoft’s focus

Not yet, or not ever?

Rocksmith+ is due on PC in only a few days, but that doesn’t help those who were looking to learn guitar on consoles.

Sharp-minded reader Beavwa remembered that Rocksmith+ was pitched on PC and consoles, and quickly noticed that console availability has dropped off Ubisoft’s messaging.

Asked about Rocksmith+ console availability by Stevivor, Ubisoft was a bit vague with its reply.

“Right now, our team is focused on making Rocksmith+ the best it can be on Ubisoft Connect for PC, followed by iOS and Android,” an Ubisoft spokesperson told us.

As such, console access remains a big question mark. We’ve asked Ubisoft specifically to clarify if console releases have been delayed or cancelled and will update this story as we learn more.

Those on PC can expect Rocksmith+ from 6 September.
