Rise of the Tomb Raider is a timed exclusive on Xbox One

Xbox head Phil Spencer has confirmed that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be a timed exclusive on the Xbox One, but declined to comment on the duration of the exclusivity.

Spencer confirmed that the exclusivity deal with Square Enix “has a duration”, speaking with Eurogamer. He compared the deal to that of Dead Rising 3 and Ryse on Xbox One; both titles will soon arrive on Windows PC.

Any guesses on how long the exclusivity will last?
