Revenge of the Savage Planet is all about new beginnings

That's fitting for Raccoon Logic, formerly Typhoon.

Revenge of the Savage Planet was today announced by Raccoon Logic, formerly Typhoon, the developers of the original Journey to the Savage Planet.

“In a future knocked off its axis by corporate greed and stupidity, you have been made redundant and abandoned on the far edge of space with little gear and no safety net,” reads the game’s new — and extremely meta — Steam page.

“You must explore every nook and cranny, collect dozens of upgrades, and turn over every mysterious alien rock if you want to get revenge on your former employer and return to Earth.”

Raccoon Logic formed in 2021, following the closure of Typhoon Studios by Google’s Stadia Games & Entertainment back in 2021.

“We’re super excited to continue the work we started at Typhoon Studios, and build upon the Journey to the Savage Planet franchise in the future,” said studio head Reid Schneider back at the announcement of the studio. “We’re fortunate to have put together an amazing team, many of whom helped build Savage Planet, and we’ve added some great new talent as well.”

We’ll have more on Revenge of the Savage Planet as news becomes available. Expect the title on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store alongside Xbox and PlayStation.
