Return to Monkey Island PS5, Xbox Series release coming 8 November

Avast, ye hearties!

Return to Monkey Island PS5, Xbox Series S & X release is coming 8 November, joining existing releases on Switch and PC.

The point and click will also be available to those on Xbox Game Pass subscriptions.

Ben’s recently reviewed the title on Switch (after what’s surely one of the shortest console exclusivity periods to date).

Return to Monkey Island is a good old adventure game, made modern. It is vintage gameplay in a modern package, with a focus on accessibility, without sacrificing the outlandish puzzles and quirky oddities,” he wrote. “The visuals don’t quite feel right, and yet with excellent voice acting, and scenarios and dialogue that feel straight out of the early 90s, the world is almost perfectly recreated 30 years later.”

Return to Monkey Island is currently available on Windows PC and Switch; it heads to Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 on 8 November.
