Resident Evil Village iPhone release coming late October

Try before you buy (if you can play it).

The Resident Evil Village iPhone and iPad release is scheduled for late October, the eagle eyes at Gematsu are reporting.

From 30 October, those with an iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Air or an iPad Pro with an M1 chip onwards can first try Village before they buy it.

Over in Japan, the cost to unlock the full game is 4,990 yen; its Winters’ Expansion DLC is a separate purchase of 2,000 yen.

Resident Evil 4 will follow in later in 2023, priced at 7,990 yen; its recently released Separate Ways DLC will set you back a further 1,000 yen.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will follow on select iPhone and iPad releases in 2024.

We’ve been loaned an iPhone 15 Pro by Apple and intend to put Resident Evil Village on it accordingly. Stay tuned.
