Resident Evil RE:Verse delayed into 2022

Another one?

Resident Evil RE:Verse, the multiplayer title that was meant to be bundled alongside Resident Evil Village, has once again been delayed. This time, we’ve been told to expect the shooter in 2022.

“The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience,” Capcom said on Twitter.

“We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

RE:Verse was originally to launch in May and was delayed to July 2021. The title also offered up an open beta ahead of these times, though that was called off early over matchmaking issues.

Resident Evil Village is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4 and PS5. RE:Verse will now follow sometime in 2022. Those looking for a Resident Evil multiplayer mix can find one inside Dead by Daylight‘s new Resident Evil chapter.
