Resident Evil Requiem second playable character outed by GameStop listing

(And no, it's not Leon...)

A GameStop Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition PC listing has seemingly outed a second playable character in-game. And no, it’s not Leon.

Spoilers follow.

The listing, still live at the time of writing, details a bunch of content heading to Requiem, including two future story scenarios and even a “major Mercenaries mode update”.

It also details the “‘Shadow Walker’ Costume Pack [which includes] 3 exclusive outfits for Rosemary Winters.”

Rosemary Winters should be ringing a bell for franchise fans — she served (as a sliced and diced baby) MacGuffin in Resident Evil Village before being aged up and fighting bioweapons herself inside “Shadows of Rose” a full sixteen years after the events of the main game.

The GameStop listing also details “Rose’s visor,” so it appears that she’ll have some Batman Arkham-like scanning capabilities as she fights independently — or alongside — main protagonist Grace Ashcroft.

You can learn more about Capcom has released about Requiem‘s special editions (and even an amiibo!) here.

Expect Resident Evil Requiem from 27 February 2026 on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and Switch 2.
