Resident Evil Netflix TV show to feature the Wesker kids, New Raccoon City

The upcoming Resident Evil Netflix TV series will feature the Wesker kids alongside a city called New Raccoon City, a tease from the streaming service has detailed.

“When the Wesker kids move to New Raccoon City, the secrets they uncover might just be the end of everything,” a tease for the show reads.” Resident Evil, a new live action series based on Capcom’s legendary survival horror franchise, is coming to Netflix.”

Accompanying the post is a picture of the cover of the show’s first episode, titled “Welcome to New Raccoon City.” The episode is written by Andrew Dabb and directed by Bronwen Hughes.

News of Resident Evil TV show first popped up in 2014; Netflix confirmed it had the series earlier in 2020. The show is a continuation of the Resident Evil series of films by Constantin Films.
