Resident Evil movie reboot shows off Leon, Claire and more

Even [REDACTED villain-type character]!

New shots from the upcoming Resident Evil live-action movie reboot Welcome to Raccoon City show off a range of characters from the Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2 video games.

Provided to IGN, a total of three images are now available and show off mainstays Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, Albert Wesker, Jill Valentine and another character who we won’t name until later on (you’ve been warned!).

First, take a look at Avan Jogia (Zombieland Double Tap) as Leon Kennedy alongside Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner) as Claire Redfield.

Next up we have — Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy) as Wesker, Hannah John-Kamen (Ant-Man) as Jill Valentine and Robbie Amell (Upload) as Chris Redfield.

Finally, we have an unnamed actor as Lisa Trevor, meaning that the film will follow the GameCube remake of Resident Evil over the PlayStation original. Will the same hold true for the Resident Evil 2 storyline?

Resident Evil Welcome to Raccoon City heads to theatres in November 2021.
