Resident Evil Death Island release date set for late July

Ready those TVs!

The Resident Evil Death Island release date has been set for 25 July, Capcom and Sony Pictures have today announced.

If you’ve never heard of the project, don’t think this is a new video game; in fact, it’s the latest CGI film release in a long string of both animated and live action Resident Evil films.

Announced back in February of this year, Death Island will group together fan favourite characters Chris and Claire Redfield alongside Leon S Kennedy and Jill Valentine (making it the first time the latter two characters have truly worked together in-universe).

It’s highly likely that Death Island will feature in some way as part of the newly announced Capcom Showcase taking place next week.

Expect Resident Evil Death Island on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, DVD and digital from 25 July.
