Resident Evil 7: Capcom shows green herbs, teases in-game currency

Capcom has teased in-game currency in Resident Evil 7 with as much subtlety as a gigantic neon sign.

Those on the Resident Evil Ambassador email subscription service received the following communication last night, showing off both green herbs, the franchise’s long-standing healing item, alongside a mysterious coin:

While the coin could — quite literally — be anything at this time, many believe it to be a tease of an in-game vendor, perhaps like Resident Evil 4‘s Merchant.

We’ll have more as it’s made available. At this stage, we expect more from Capcom on Resident Evil 7 at Tokyo Game Show.
