Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and more Twisted Metal classics heading to PS4, PS5

They'll be in PlayStation Plus, and hopefully individual purchase...

PlayStation classics Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, Twisted Metal 3, and Twisted Metal 4 have all be confirmed for inclusion in the PlayStation Plus subscription program later this year.

Players can expect Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 inside PlayStation Plus from 16 July here in Australia, while Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 should follow in the coming months.

While this is excellent news, it remains to be seen if the classics detailed above will also be available for individual purchase should you not wish to subscribe to PlayStation Plus’ highest tier to gain access. Titles like Resident Evil were immediately offered up for individual purchase when made available to Plus, though other classics like Dino Crisis were a subscriber exclusive for a limited time before opening up to actual purchase.

We’ll keep you informed as we learn more about access, and release dates for the two Resident Evil titles.

If you’re more of a PC person, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 are all available right now via GOG.
