Resident Evil 2 Noir costumes, filter shown off

Resident Evil 2 Noir costumes and a special filter were recently shown off by Capcom.

A Noir costume is available for each of the game’s protagonists — Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield — and makes either look like an old-school detective. Fittingly, a black-and-white filter only enhances this. Shots of the costumes with and without the filter are below.

The costumes are available as part of the Resident Evil 2 Collector’s Edition and in the game’s Deluxe Edition and will be released alongside additional costumes like an Elza Walker skin for Claire Redfield. Elza was to star in Resident Evil 2 instead of Claire, and was seen in action inside demos (and Resident Evil 1.5 restorations).

The shots are below.

Resident Evil 2 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One and PS4 in January 2019.
